My Valentine
Do you remember when......
You were in high school or maybe even middle school and Valentine's Day came around? It was like, THE holiday we youngsters (with boyfriends) most looked forward to. We would wait all day long....til the afternoon announcements came over the speakers before the dismissal bell rang, for our names to be called to the office. And when your name was called - you knew! Your Valentine had sent you flowers and balloons. Oh my gosh!!! That proud feeling of walking out of school with your delivery in hand, knowing that your boyfriend really liked you and now the rest of the school knew it too! My Valentine. How funny that something so silly and simple could make you feel so special. It really is the little things that are the most grande. It doesn't really change as we get older. We still love the small gestures. At least I do. I don't need to be wined and dined. Actually, what I would love on this holiday...is to lay in bed all day, watch movies and eat Mexican food.
(Why, thank you Mr. Valentine!)
The smallest gestures truly are the things that make our hearts happiest. To some of us, that could mean having a family night and laughing with our loved ones. It might just be having everyone at the dinner table at the same time, because we all know how difficult that is with our kiddos going in a million different directions, all of the time. Or for some people (let's say me for example) it's your kiddos deciding that today is going to be the day they all decide to love each other and stop yelling as a form of communication. I'm just sayin'.
This year I want to give out a Valentine of my own. Something simple but grande. I want to give you a Valentine you can be proud of. One that can put a smile on your face and then I want to capture that smile for you to have for always. I want to give away a Family Session.
Here's what you do:
*Like and then Share this post
*Tell me how you and your Valentine met (funny or romantic)
My favorite story will win a free session.
I hope you all have a very Happy Valentine's Day!
